Volunteer Orphanage projects and programmes abroad
Career break volunteers have the opportunity to help provide care and support at orphanages and nurseries in several countries around the world. MondoChallenge childcare volunteering projects are available in Romania, India, Ecuador, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and Gambia.
As a volunteer in these childcare projects you help in a variety of ways, from taking care of the babies to running teaching programmes for the toddlers and older children. You don't necessarily need previous experience of providing care, just need to have a genuine interest in looking after children and a willingness to help during your career break.
