In our eyes there are no quick fix methods for issues like hunger, poverty and illiteracy, and we are committed to international development on a long term basis.  Sustainability is central to everything we do and we are proud of the positive impact our voluntary work has had over the last decade.

Although the financial contribution of our volunteers must inevitably cover the costs of setting up and delivering our career break projects, our sister charity, the FutureSense Foundation, raises funds and provides financial support for our development projects overseas.

We are not a funding organisation but we know from experience that the contributions we do provide go much further than many international aid programmes!
